Fulwood and Broughton have won the Loxham Cup beating Vernon Carus in the final by 77 runs at Penwortham.  After losing the toss, Fulwood batted first and got off to an explosive start with Michael Kippax scoring 83 quick runs.  Vernons held their catches well to restrict Fulwood to what looked to be a competitive 212 all out in the final over.  Vernons lost early wickets and were never really in the hunt before being dismissed for 135.   Michael Kippax was man of the match.

Player of the month for July is Ashit Jariwala of Penwortham who took 21 wickets in the month.  Team of the month for July were Gregson Lane in Division 3 who took a maximum 60 points from their 5 games.
